Hi guys,
I contacted Shawn Morgan, a talented prop maker, this evening to see if he was still producing his fine SE-14R blaster prop replica. This is the small blaster that's used on the Stormtrooper promo shots. It's not used by the Stormtroopers in the movies, but a similar blaster is used by Dr. Evazan and Ponda Baba in the Mos Eisley Cantina on Tatooine.
Good news Shawn is indeed still producing the blaster and it is available ongoing. Details are quoted below:
TK 2073 and i got together today and decided to get some comarison pics of our helmets
TK 2073 has an SDS battlespec (right of picture) and a recently purchased TE2 sandtrooper lid (middle of picture)

I have decided to go sandy, but this will be in addition to my TK; not giving up on the shiny stuff. ;)
I picked this absolutely gorgeous bucket of lust up the other day on the UKG forum, after it sat there looking at me for weeks. My wife, bless her, sold her expensive shoes to let me buy it, now that's love! It's a TE2 Sandtrooper bucket painted and dirtied up just right by Angelo of the UKG/MEPD. Ain't that just a thing of beauty!? :D
There will be a gallery up soon for this one. :)

Last weekend, I acquired another costume. This time I'm doing an AT-AT Driver, my second favourite classic trilogy character.
This is the costume I considered first, before the Stormtrooper. This was mainly due to my starting weight of 18 stone 2 lbs, but I chose the more difficult path at the outset and decided to loose enough poundage to fit the TK first.
In the AT-AT Driver kit, I still look like I've eaten all the Hothmas Wampies, but it's not so noticable after having lost about 4½ stone! :))
You can find the clearance photos on the gallery menu at the top of the page. (or right here) and it's currently the featured gallery over on the right.

Hi folks, I've just put up galleries for The Buzz Falkirk event last week and the Odeon Dunfermline event from March.
Tony TK-300 Barnett has been updating his awesome TK how to site.
TK-7515 is selling his current kit. Are you in the market for a complete and ready to troop kit, then look no further, 'cos you found it!
Here's TK-7515's sale post:
ATA (Affordable Trooper Armour) is a new armour producer who is about to launch on the scene. His armour has a pedigree going back to TE and CAP and has had agreements and help producing moulds and parts by both TE2 and CAP.
I have a helmet on the way and TK-7515 is soon to be placing an order for several full armour kits, so watch this space for our build threads!
I present, my new ATA bucket:

This is the sight that greeted me upon opening the box.

As you can see the detail is very nice on the ATA. It's a good sharp pull, despite the far too humble Mr. ATA's protestations that this is a budget bucket!

Back you go 'til I get brave enough to start trimming!
Build post coming soon... ;)
